Love this place, I go here a lot actually --- fun decor, fun drinks, yummy/interesting tacos. Their vegan jackfruit option is particularly tasty imo!! Perhaps a bit pricier than I'd prefer but what can you do 🤷♀️. I will say, their drink pours are really generous so be careful! But hey, at least you are getting your money's worth in that sense. My waiter was Mason the last time I was here and he was super great and helpful! Even gave me some extra chips 😍
Agave & Rye is hands down the best taco restaurant. First let’s get into the vibes when you walk in. Phenomenal, the decor, the lighting give such a cool atmosphere. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Now let’s talk about the EPIC tacos. The variety is insane! I’ve never been disappointed with the quality, appearance or cost. My fave taco is the Alderman’s Escort! Yummy. If you’re thinking of trying Agave & Rye go for it. You will be surprised and satisfied!
Madelyn was AMAZING! So kind and patient with us, and our quirks! Food was delicious. The Happy Pappy is the best taco! Pitcher of margs was 💯🎉. Love Agave & Rye in downtown Lexington 🥰. Dakota was a gem and brought us incredible desserts. Awesome team working here!
Listen, I honestly expected the food to be “meh” at best & disappointing at worst. Oooh let me tell you, I was absolutely wrong! I was in town for a conference & a fellow attendee recommended Agave & Rye. The food & vibes were so excellent that I ate there everyday of the conference (Wed 9/17 - Fri 9/19). The food is well seasoned & flavorful. The drinks are without a doubt among the best that I’ve had. The atmosphere is super chill & welcoming. I love the decor - beautifully vibrant wall murals & chandeliers. The staff is pleasant. Major kudos to DJ, the bartender! He is exceptionally friendly & makes great menu recommendations. I had the sticky cauliflower bites & several vegetarian tacos on the menu. Here’s my ranking for the vegetarian/vegan tacos: 1. Bang Bang 🥰🥰🥰 2. Vegan Quesa Jackfruit street tacos 3. Easy Ranchero 4. First time there. DJ was an amazing as our server. The food was amazing. The bartender made me an amazing Painkiller. Highly recommended.
Been to a few of these, and they are always a cool vibe. Food is good. Vegan option available, and it’s excellent. BFF Karen Taco: 10/10 Chihuly style fixtures inside.
Wow, what an experience! We enjoyed absolutely everything! I highly recommend the mac and cheese donuts, they taste way better than they sound. Emily was our server and she was so amazing. When we visit again we will definitely eat here again.
I went there for a late lunch. It is a very artsy place with sheek sense of style and design. A very spacious place with excellent service. I loved the quality of food and drinks. It is a creatively crafted Mexican cuisine. I went there again with a group for dinner also and enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this place.
My husband and I tried to eat here before the comedy show we were going to see (we went in enough time), but they wound up getting hit with a big rush at the same time. We had our sever cancel our order after we explained we were worried about not getting to our show in time. The manager Dakota came out and talked to us and we told him we would come back after our show. Shortly after he spoke to us and explained what was happening the G.M. came out and spoke to us as well, explaining. We both assured them we understood being short staffed and busy and that we would come back after the comedy show. The G.M. and manager both assured us that they would take care of us. My husband and I both weren't expecting that and appreciate it. Staff is absolutely friendly as well.
Wow we drove all the way from Louisville to meet friends. How lucky can a person get??? Everything on their menu is made in house. The candies jalapeños are to die for and they lovingly gave me a container to take home!!! All the tacos were incredible.. especially the Lobster.. melt in your mouth good. I was also able to enjoy one of the best Margaritas I've had in a long time....
